In 2012 ICAN conducted a short survey regarding infection control provision and infrastructure in healthcare facilities in Africa. Since this survey we have experienced one of the largest outbreaks of Ebola in Africa with many areas found lacking in both IPC infrastructure and systems.
ICAN invites you to help with mapping the extent of current IPC structures in Africa. This vital information will be collated electronically via SurveyMonkey (link here).
The information will be anonymous by type of healthcare facility PER COUNTRY so that we can support IPC training in Africa via the ICAN website. We need your help to establish IPC priorities for Africa. The survey will not take more than 10 minutes to complete and will close on the 9th September 2016..
By completing the survey you will be contributing to essential IPC development in Africa. The survey outcomes will be presented at the upcoming ICAN conference in Johannesburg from the 25th – 28th September 2016 at which we hope to meet you.
