Call for Abstracts
We welcome your participation in the 9th Infection Control Africa Network Congress (ICAN 2025) taking place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in Cape Town, South Africa from 29 June to 2 July 2025.
The congress will attract infection control practitioners from the community and hospital settings, hospital management, healthcare workers interested in IPC, CSSD staff, trainers in IPC, and hospital engineers.
Abstracts will be blind peer-reviewed and selected based on merit and relevance to the congress theme. Abstracts chosen for oral presentation will have 15-20 minutes followed by a Q&A session. Abstracts chosen for poster presentation will be displayed throughout the congress with designated times for author interaction.
Please read the Call for Abstracts for further details and instructions on how to submit your abstract. The deadline for submissions is 7 February 2025.
