Infection Control Conference – October 2023

Infection Control Conference

The Infection Control Conference is a new addition to the Africa Health Congress this year, with a one-day agenda focusing on three pillars for success – the patient, the staff, and the environment. Infection prevention and control affect all aspects of health care and always require action. By focusing on the three elements, the delegates will understand the role that each play in infection control, and gain an all-around understanding through a practical, and evidence-based approach.

Conference chairs:

Briette du Toit, Program Manager, and Training Coordinator, Infection Control Africa Network (ICAN), Cape Town, South Africa

Yolanda Van Zyl, Clinical Programme Coordinator – Infection Control Practitioner, Paarl Hospital, Western Cape Government, Paarl, South Africa
