ICAN invites you to help with mapping the extent of current IPC structures in Africa. This vital information will be collated electronically via SurveyMonkey (link here).
In 2016 ICAN conducted a short survey regarding infection control provision and infrastructure in healthcare facilities in Africa. Since this survey we have experienced one of the largest outbreaks of Ebola in Africa with many areas found lacking in both IPC infrastructure and systems.
The information will be anonymous by type of healthcare facility PER COUNTRY so that we can support IPC training in Africa via the ICAN website. We need your help to establish IPC priorities for Africa. The survey will not take more than 10 minutes to complete and will close on the 30th October 2017.
By completing the survey you will be contributing to essential IPC development in Africa.
The survey outcomes will be presented at the upcoming ICAN conference in Cape Town in July 2018 at which we hope to meet you.
