The International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) hold a Congress in Hyderabad, India, from March 2 – 5, 2016. The Infection Control Africa Network (ICAN) was present and active during the Congress.

Right Picture – Prof Shaheen Mehtar, the Chairperson of ICAN, co-chaired this important Workshop on the Infection Prevention and Control for Low-to-Middle Income Countries (LMIC). At the end of this workshop which accommodated about 20 experts from LMIC, several inputs were recorded for the 6th edition of the “Guide to Infection Control in the Hospital” which is an official publication of the ISID.
